今夏は北アルプス縦走、剱岳登頂後は、老齢？を鞭打った山行の無理がたったのか、左脚の付根の炎症に悩まされ続けた一ヶ月だった。これで今年の山行を終える予定だったが、何気なく日本百名山を渉猟していると福井県大野市に百名山がある事を知った。標高も1500m程度と病み上がりの俺でも行ける。加えて、大野市の越前大野城は天空の城とも呼ばれており一度は見てみたいと思っていた。紅葉の時期に入りタイミング的にもベストの頃合いとなってきたので実行することに。いざ行かん！

10年振りでレッカーのお世話になる。月一の家系ラーメンを食いにガレージから暫く走ると、エンジンがブルブル震え始めアクセスを踏んでも回転数が上がらない。滔々田んぼ道でエンストする。キイをひねるがセルは回るもエンジンがかからない。狭い田んぼ道なので対向車の対応をしたり、近所の人々が物珍しく家から出てきて車の移動を手伝ってくれたり、飲み物を差し入れてくれたり、と整備どころでない。已む無くレッカー移動することになる。It would be in 10 years since Pagoda was towed last time.
